Southampton Boat Show is a leading yachting festival with more than half a century of history, one of the most important events of the year in the maritime industry, attracting many enthusiasts from the UK and across Europe.
Traditionally, this boat show starts in mid-September and lasts more than a week. The duration of this event organized by British Marine is one of the many features that make it unique. The boat show includes everything from the premiere of the latest yachts to antique classic boats, from personal water sports equipment to nautical souvenirs.
Most of the show takes place on land, spanning the Mayflower Park and extending all the way to the city center, and there is also an area of water where you can wander along the pontoons among luxury superyachts, sailboats and small motorboats. Of course, there are yacht tests for potential buyers and pleasure trips on portable rowing boats and sailing dinghies.
